A former cattle trail leads to Punta del Viento, the first viewpoint of the breast or arm of Moyano. It is an easy hike that offers very nice views of the town and its grove of Sequoias. This is one of the very enjoyable activities in Patagonia. On the road lies the ruins of Alfred Ramstrom's home. He was the first settler of the area. Arriving in Lakeshore, visitors start the Moyano arm that goes into the mountains that are seen to the east, and then witness the vastness of Lake Viedma with its azure waters, the characteristic color of glacial lakes, the location of many other activities in Patagonia.

Everything about my trip to Helsingfors was amazing, from the staff, service, horseback riding, beautiful surroundings, treking, and of course the food. I'm still dreaming about the roasted lamb done over the open fire for the opening lunch. The staff was professional and accommodating and very personable. It is well worth the long trek to get there. It is a trip I will never forget.
